| The Bicester Sculpture Group was founded in 1998 in memory of the sculptor and teacher George Muller who created a working studio at his home in the town of Bicester in Oxfordshire, England.
George's wife Ena kindly allows the group to continue to use the studio facilities and her large garden for work and display. Founding member Joyce Playle remains instrumental in the growth and development of the The Bicester Sculpture Group. Members meet in the studio during three 12-week terms for a tutored day on Tuesdays and/or a non-tutored day on Thursdays. Tuition, support and encouragement are provided within a creative and friendly atmosphere which includes the exchange of ideas and information and stimulating discussion. |
