Full Membership
Full members are entitled to:
- Use the studio during term between 10 am - 4 pm on the tutored Tuesday or on the non-tutored Thursday*
- Use of the BSG tools, equipment (including the large kiln) and general supplies
- Display their work during the annual Oxfordfordshire Artweeks exhibition
- Attend special workshops on a sign-up, share the cost, basis
- Have their name listed on the BSG website
- A personal web page including text, pictures, contact details and a link to a personal website for a small fee.
*The cost of the tutored days is £160 per term; the non-tutored days is £100 per term.
Associate Membership
Former full members may choose the Associate Membership for £30 per year. They are entitled to:
- Use the workshop a maximum of six days per term at a charge of £10 per day
- Use of the BSG tools, equipment (including the large kiln) and general supplies
- Display their work during the annual Oxfordfordshire Artweeks exhibition
- Attend special workshops on a sign-up, share the cost, basis
- Have their name listed on the BSG website
- A personal web page including text, pictures, contact details and a link to a personal website for a small fee.
Notes:
- There are three 12-week terms during the year.
- All members are entitled to use the studio on additional, prearranged, days for £10 per day.
- There is a one-off fee of £30 for new members to enable the group to maintain a stock of consumable supplies and materials.
- Members pay for any materials used during the term including personal supplies, firing of the kiln, gas for the mig welder, etc.
- Participation in BSG Exhibits and Workshops is voluntary and the costs are shared.
