I have come very late to sculpture.
In my 20s I was interested in pottery and took a course at my local tech college which covered all of the pottery building and decorating methods. For a few years after this I taught pottery at evening classes.
It is only in the last couple of years that my interest in sculpture has evolved as far as actually doing any. This started after I retired when I joined the Bicester Sculpture Group.
I have had a jolly time during the past 18 months exploring a number of materials and techniques with various degrees of success.
