Bicester Sculpture Group

The George Muller Studio

The Studio:

The large main room has enough tables and stands for a dozen members to work simultaneously on sculptures. A large adjacent room in the converted stables provides additional space for working in resin or welding.

The Equipment:

The studio has a large electric kiln for firing ceramic pieces; a mig welder is also available. A large variety of armature-construction and sculpting materials, a wide selection of tools, and diverse patination supplies ensure that members have what they need or want to complete their creations.

Members may choose to work on large scale sculptures and can be developed in many different mediums including clay, plaster, fibrocem, wax, resin, metal, stone and wood. Orders for specific supplies can be chosen from our supplier's catalogs and delivery is usually assured within the week.

The Garden:

The group is fortunate to have the opportunity to use the large garden and ample parking facilities available. Large sculpture pieces are displayed year-round in the charming garden; during nice weather members often work and picnic outdoors.
